Founded in 1983, Center for Christian Virtue equips and mobilizes Christians to engage in public policy, fighting for faith, family and freedom. Saving America, from the states up: we are a Christian public-policy organization based in Columbus, Ohio, carrying that work into statehouses across the country.
At CCV, our mission is to seek the good of our neighbors by advocating for public policy that reflects the truth of the Gospel.
Dr. Jerry Kirk, with other pastors and lay leaders, organised the group that became CCV around one community concern.
Aaron Baer became president in 2016. The same work now runs in statehouses across the country.

For four decades, CCV has stood for the truth of the Gospel in the public square. Ohio is our proving ground, but America is our mission.
Our greatest drive at Center for Christian Virtue is to see the name of Jesus lifted high, and the American people prosper. This only happens through prayer, steadfast commitment to God’s word, and an unwavering dedication for fighting for what’s right.
We believe God has called Christians in America to not be silent, and stand for life, liberty, and His timeless word through our civic engagement. We stand to empower followers of Jesus to be a light in their community to safeguard the American promise, and preserve it for the next generation.
Thank you for standing with us. Together, we are building a state, and a nation, where families can thrive.

cbpohio.orgWe believe that each person has inherent value. Therefore, we believe the way we talk, write, and think about other people should reflect their intrinsic worth and value, regardless of philosophical, religious, or ideological disagreements.
We believe we live in the greatest nation on earth. While we will fight vigorously for the things we hold dear, we will conduct ourselves in a way that reflects the gratitude we hold for the unmerited favor we enjoy as Americans.
We believe that excellence is crucial to effectiveness. We believe our conduct, our speech, and any work product should be professional and are committed to ensuring that everything we do meets the highest standards of professionalism.
Personal, emotional issues should be dealt with in a considerate and thoughtful way. We do not believe anyone is obligated to agree with us. Therefore, as we endeavor to persuade others of the rightness of our cause, we are committed to focusing our discussion on ideas, not people.
Everyone at CCV shares our Christian faith and Core Values, and plays a key role in driving our mission forward.
